Sea Rider Capital is the private investment office of the Ajjarapu family. We invest our own capital in founder-led private companies and Nasdaq-listed businesses, and we work alongside the teams we back.
We have no outside investors and no fund life. That lets us hold good businesses for as long as it makes sense and structure each investment around the company's needs.
Our principals have founded, listed and led companies in healthcare, energy, advanced materials, aerospace, media and sport. We use that experience to help management teams with financing, governance, acquisitions and the demands of being a public company.
We make a small number of investments each year and stay involved with each one.
Pharmacy, distribution, health IT and biotechnology.
Strategic materials, domestic manufacturing and energy supply chains.
Leagues, franchises and content platforms with global audiences.
Defense, aviation and technology-enabled services.
Payments and banking infrastructure, including in emerging markets.
Industrial and commercial property connected to operating businesses.
We generally do not invest in blind-pool funds, very early concepts without a team, or short-term trading situations.
